About us

A family company that invested in solar before most of Greece

Compa Solar was founded in 1999 by Nikolaos Salmanlis (physicist), Konstantinos Salmanlis (electronics engineer) and Charalampos Salmanlis (mechanical engineer). We started as investors in our own solar plants, so we know every stage of a project, from licensing and financing to construction and long-term operation.

In 2024 we founded Nexa Energy to focus on what comes next: hybrid systems with battery storage, zero feed-in installations and solar carports with EV charging.

Our headquarters are in the centre of Katerini, between Mount Olympus and the Thermaic Gulf, with 300 m² of offices, a test and repair lab and a warehouse.
